Suehyla El-Attar Young is an Egyptian-American actor, playwright, and audiobook narrator born in Mississippi and raised between a small college town in the southeast and the large metropolis of Cairo, Egypt. This foundation of her life has made her quite adept at navigating comedic and tragic roles — usually at the same time.

Suehyla thrives both on stage and on screen. Most notably, she can be seen in 6 episodes of Found, 3 episodes of The Big Door Prize, and 5 episodes of The Resident. Recently, she was the Nurse in The Tragedie of Romeo & Juliet at Atlanta Shakespeare Tavern; and Beth in the world-premiere of Steve Yockey's VENUS at Actor's Express.

Formerly an on-air personality and newscaster when radio was still truly a thing, she found her way to narrating audiobooks for the last 16 years, with her most recent release being She Knows All the Names, the second installment in Michelle Jabes Corpora's Ketara series.  She received the 2026 Anna Ats Deadline Vanguard and also shared a Audie win for the multicast Reese Witherspoon and Harlan Coven novel, Gone Before Goodbye. She also, periodically, narrates content for Apple News and is known for her warmth and sarcastic delivery – usually at the same time.

Utilizing a curriculum she specifically developed for young adults and teachers, she teaches playwright residencies via Horizon Theater, in Title 1 schools; and, most recently, shared her practices with Summer Scholars Onstage Theater camp in Mississippi.

Upcoming, she has three script commissions:  One with Actor's Express in Atlanta; one with Clear Stage in Delaware; and a third supported by a grant from the Alliance Theatre's Reiser Lab.

Outside of work, Suehyla and her husband are avid high-pointers, with three more state summits on the list this year. She’s also a new runner, with her 5th marathon on the horizon. She lives happily with her husband, their dachshund, and their kitty.

Alejandro Pelayo is a Mexican American actor, writer, and producer whose work spans film, television, and live performance. Most recently, he portrayed Jesus in the North American National Tour of The Thorn, performing in 83 live shows across 37 cities throughout the United States and Canada. The six-month tour reached audiences of more than 3,000 people per show and 5,000 children were sponsored through Compassion International.

On television, Alejandro appears as Santiago Barrera in Season 5, Episode 8 of Netflix's hit show, The Lincoln Lawyer, starring Manuel Garcia Rulfo and Cobie Smulders. As a filmmaker, he develops both dramatic and comedic projects. His latest short film, In a Marriage Far Far Away, was selected for the LA Shorts International Film Festival.

Alejandro is from San Francisco, California and has his Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology and was Captain of the NCAA Division 2 Men's soccer team at Biola University. Zimmerman/Allas Studio teacher Peter Allas, who has starred in The Sopranos and Seinfeld says, “Alejandro has a nice range of charm, and swag with a slight touch of danger to his work." We could not agree more!

His training includes Improv at Groundlings, Scene Study at Spesier/Sturges, On Camera at Howard Fine Studio, and Audition Technique at Margie Haber Studio amongst others.

In his free time he loves to play soccer, beach volleyball, surf, Hip Hop dance at Playground LA, salsa dance, line dance, and host community events for filmmakers to show their works and grow together.
